Biography

Manhal Al-Habbobi, Founder and CEO of Manhal Al-Habbobi Architectural Consultancy, is one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary architectural scene in Iraq and the region. An Iraqi architect and researcher in philosophy, he is renowned for his profound design vision that blends authenticity with innovation.

With over 20 years of experience, Al-Habbobi has led the realization of more than 40 architectural projects across diverse fields, ranging from strategic urban developments to institutional and cultural designs. His firm operates through three international offices (Baghdad, London, and Dubai) and is supported by a multidisciplinary team of over 25 designers and engineers, working in harmony to deliver forward-thinking architectural solutions.

Al-Habbobi has left his architectural imprint in six different countries, reinforcing his international presence and establishing his reputation as one of the most influential architects in the contemporary urban landscape.

His joining the Al-Omran Award Jury 2025 marks a significant addition, as he brings together academic depth and practical expertise, further enriching the award’s mission to honor architectural and interior design excellence.
